The introduction of the 2013 Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 means parents now need to opt-in to purchase specific insurance policies, providing express consent for their children to be involved in certain school activities. We recognise this change of approach results in increased administration for schools.
We believe that parents should have the flexibility to choose the level of protection their children should have, and for schools to have the ability to provide a range of relevant insurance products.
We can provide cover for independent school pupils with two levels of cover, 24 hours a day for complete peace of mind. Please click on the link below for more information.
This insurance policy provides reimbursement of school fees whilst the pupil cannot attend school due to accident or illness, after an initial absence period of 5 days. The policy is administered by the school, and can be either an annual policy, or undertaken termly, with parents informing the school they wish to be included for their child at the beginning of the new academic term, and subsequent terms.
This insurance policy covers pupils’ own personal effects, whilst enrolled at an independent school, with worldwide cover operating all year round, not limited to term time only. The policy is administered by the school, on a termly basis.
With access to two specialist schools’ schemes, we can provide termly private medical insurance, and will specifically cover pupils from overseas, who benefit from cost effective private healthcare cover whilst studying in the UK.
