Hayes Parsons is an independent, Chartered Insurance Broker based in the heart of Bristol; we are growing quickly so looking for talented, enthusiastic people to join our team! We are a thriving, values driven organisation and are looking for an efficient individual with some telesales experience to assist the sales and marketing team in hitting their ambitious 2021 targets.
To find out more or apply for this role, please email your CV, marked for the attention of Ben Leah, to [email protected].
You will work alongside the Account Executives and the Marketing Manager to organise and execute outbound telesales campaigns. We have a number of specialisms so you will be speaking with organisations across the country in various sectors including independent education, commercial marine, heritage, technology and life science.
You will need to work closely with each Account Executive to understand their particular campaigns and their USPs. You will be given a database of prospective clients and will be expected to manage your own diary and use your own sales skills to covert these individuals into warm leads. At times, you will also be required to talk to existing clients and help carry out cross-sell or other communication campaigns.
You will be responsible for:
Making outbound calls to prospective clients, completing qualifying or fact finding questions and converting to warm leads for the sales team
Providing Company and product information and answering initial queries to prospective clients
Making detailed notes and diary appointments for the sales team
Maintaining customer records, making sure they are compliant and accurate
Providing telephone quotations to prospective clients when appropriate
Building good relationships both internally and externally
Assisting the marketing team with campaigns to both existing and new clients when needed
The role is full time and based in our central Bristol office and we would consider a working from home arrangement upon completion of your probation period.
It is a requirement of this role that you either hold or are working towards completing the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII).
At Hayes Parsons we have a strong emphasis on internal training and staff development and if you do not already hold the Cert CII you will be supported in completing this qualification which will include all funding. If you already hold the Cert CII then there will also be opportunities to continue with your studies and complete the Diploma in Insurance.
This role requires good organisational skills and the ability to sell and up-sell a range of insurance products in a telesales environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing role dealing with sales and/or complaints and you should be confident handling objections in a polite and efficient manner. Some insurance knowledge would be preferable but it not a requirement as we will provide the necessary training.
In addition, you should be able to prioritise, adapt quickly to change, work to strict deadlines and hit targets. You will be dealing with prospective and existing clients on a daily basis and so it is vital that you have a professional and friendly manner.
“Hayes Parsons is a broker designed solely around the needs of its clients and ensuring its staff has the right tools to hand to provide a service which is both market leading and highly effective.” James Woollam, Managing Director
