About the role

You will be responsible for all training and compliance across the Hayes Parsons group; this includes Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers based in central Bristol, and our specialist yacht insurance provider Admiral Marine, based in Salisbury. We also have a number of Appointed Representatives in various locations that you will need to work closely with.

Whilst the role is primarily based in the Bristol office, travel to other locations will be needed at times but we are also open to conversations around working from home arrangements. We anticipate this role being part time (4 days per week) but we can be flexible and are willing to discuss other working patterns.

As the Training and Compliance Manager you will be required to: 

Direct the apprenticeship programme and spearhead new ideas to help us become a leader in this area

Co-ordinate with all Heads of Departments to ensure their teams’ PDP and training needs are being met and staff are hitting their development objectives

Identify new training requirements across the group as and when needed

Assist the Leadership team with new acquisition projects

Assist with other projects as needed; we have plans for a number of exciting digital projects in 2021 which will require your input from both a compliance and training point of view

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all internal and external communications are compliant

Ensure we maintain our Chartered Insurance Broker status

Help to maintain a positive and motivational working environment

Be responsible for all regulatory reporting as required by the FCA
