I left sixth form wanting to get into the world of work and to continue learning academically. An apprenticeship provided me with the ideal platform to do this, and working for Hayes Parsons has enabled me to become a Chartered Insurance Broker whilst progressing within several exciting roles. Fast forward 12 years and I am still learning every day and am delighted to act as a Director for our growing business.

Apprenticeships and University are both great options for progressing into the working world, and you should take time to consider your options. You may find higher wages as a graduate, regardless of field, however there is no guarantee of a job following the completion of your degree. With an apprenticeship, providing that you pass your exams, you will have a secure role to look forward to at the end.
