Clear, Practical Pupil Insurance Schemes
Simple for schools to run, easy for parents to understand
Pupil Insurances for Independent Schools
Clear, well-structured pupil insurance schemes for independent schools, designed to be simple to run and easy for parents to understand.
Pupil insurance provides financial protection following injury, illness or loss, even where the school is not legally liable. Independent schools use pupil insurance to reassure parents, reduce disputes after incidents, and provide a consistent framework for managing expectations.
Hayes Parsons helps schools implement practical, low-admin pupil insurance schemes that sit neatly alongside their wider education insurance programme. We support schools with:
- Clear parent-facing summaries and guidance
- Advice on inclusive versus opt-in structures
- Alignment with your wider insurance programme
- Ongoing support throughout the policy year
Already have pupil insurance? We can review your current arrangements to ensure pricing, benefits and scope remain appropriate.
A Practical, Pupil-First Approach
Pupil insurance arrangements should support your school, not add complexity. They are widely used by independent schools as a proportionate, low-administration solution. We work with schools to ensure cover is:
